Its Christmas time again, the time of year where hope, joy and forgiveness abounds. It is also a time where we are all surrounded by memories of our childhood and past Christmases. Certain smells evoke memories of specific people or events, Remember the excitement as a child of Christmas lights and storefront decorations? The aromatic smells of cinnamon and and ginger in the kitchen, and the smell of freshly cut trees waiting to be decorated?. Who can forget a child’s excitement of snow falling- the absolute thrill of being outside in it, making angels on the ground, sleigh riding and ice skating ? Listening to Christmas music while sitting in front of a crackling fire, daring to sit directly in front of it until the heat finally wins and you move a little further away?
